Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Skin Room. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we invite you to review this policy on returns and refunds.

The following terms are applicable for any products that you purchase with us.

1.     Interpretation and Definitions

1.1.  Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalised have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

1.2.  Definitions

For this Return and Refund Policy:

·       Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this Agreement) refers to Skin Room, Paddock Medical Centre, 21 Pine Road, Broadacres, Fourways, Sandton, Johannesburg, 2191.

·       You refer to the individual accessing, purchasing, or using the services and products from Skin Room.

·       Goods refer to the items that were purchased by you.

·       Website refers to the Skin Room website, accessible from www.skinroom.co.za.

2.     Conditions for the Return of Goods

For the goods to be eligible for a return, ensure that the products were acquired within the past seven days, remain unopened in their original packaging, and have an intact seal.

The following goods cannot be returned:

·      The supply of goods made to your specifications or personalised.

·       The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.

·       The supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

·       The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion. Only regular-priced goods may be returned. Unfortunately, goods on sale cannot be returned.

3.     Criteria for the Return of Goods and Associated Costs

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. You should send the goods to the following address: Skin Room, Paddock Medical Centre, 21 Pine Road, Broadacres, Fourways, Sandton, Johannesburg, 2191.

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

4.     Refunds and Cancellation

You are entitled to cancel your order within seven days on which you received the goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered. To be eligible for a cancellation, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with the seal intact.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision in writing. You can inform us of your decision by sending an email to info@skinroom.co.za.

We will reimburse you no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive the returned goods. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

5.     Gifts

If the goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. No cash refunds will be permitted for a gift. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. If the goods were not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give it to you later, we will send the refund to the gift giver.

6.     Changes to this Return and Refund Policy

We may update our Return and Refund Policy from time to time and any changes to the new Return and Refund Policy will be automatically updated on this page. We reserve the right to amend this privacy statement at any time, without prior notice, by posting the amended statement on our website. You are advised to review this Return and Refund Policy periodically for any changes.
